A few weeks ago Everstage rebranded. I had nothing to do with that part — the brand team did the heavy lifting, and it shows.

What I did get to work on was a small slice of something that's now live on our homepage: Clara, our multi-modal demo chatbot.

I worked on Storylane's new product RepX (Clara) with Shankar Ganesh who somehow put up with every weird idea we threw at him and helped shape it into what it is now.

Here are the five things we added:

1. Ask Clara anything about commissions and she answers right in the chat — in text, a visual, or a live demo, whatever fits the question

2. Tell her your persona, that you need support, or that you want customer or competitor proof, and she pulls up a personalised slide using our new brand visuals.

3. Mention that you would like to look at our product and a product tour loads. Say "spreadsheets" (60% of comp still runs on them) and she drops you straight into our spreadsheet experience.

4. Every conversation gets captured, denonymized by Clearbit, run through an LLM, and qualified conversations get routed to the BDR who owns that account with a reason.

5. We're wiring the whole flow — extract, qualify, enroll — into lemlist (for multichannel sequences) so the follow-up fires off the chat prospects have.

When I heard Storylane was running the final season of Demo Dundies, I figured we had something quirky and genuinely good worth showing the world. The idea for the video came to me on an evening walk.

Wanted to explore Daydream video editor which edits videos using Claude and used Gemini avatars for the first two clips.

Enjoy watching. Demo Dundies registration link is in the comments if you want a look (yes, there's a trip to Japan on the line).
