If you are using AI to review your documents, then you are doing it wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I use AI as well.
Just not for the actual review.
When a document takes more than 5 minutes to review. Writing detailed feedback becomes a distraction of its own.
You stop reading a phrase to comment properly, then you return to the document and remember where your attention was. That context switching makes it easier to miss details, especially towards the bottom.
I have started using a different workflow.
I open Wispr Flow in hands-free mode and keep its notepad open while reviewing the document.
As I read, I simply speak out loud about what worked and what could have improved. I don't worry about the sentence structure or making the feedback sound polished.
Once I am done, I use Wispr Flow's transform feature to clean up the notes. When the feedback needs to become a more structured document or an artifact, I pass it onto ChatGPT or Claude.
The judgment is still mine. AI only helps me with capturing and organizing it without breaking my focus.
This helps me review documents more thoroughly while spending less time writing the review.
Flexing my Wispr Flow stats with this post :D
